Samsung Galaxy S Duos, Galaxy Y Duos Lite debut in India

Samsung has officially launched the recently announced dual-SIM Galaxy S Duos smartphone in India today. Priced at INR 17,900, it will be available in all major retailers across the country.

Samsung Galaxy S Duos features 4-inch WVGA display, 1GHz processor, Ice Cream Sandwich, 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes with 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera and FM Radio.

According to Samsung, Galaxy S Duos also comes with ‘Smart Dual SIM’ feature that allows users to never miss a call even if they are already talking on one SIM or surfing the web using the other.

Company has also made the Galaxy Y Duos Lite smartphone official; we had already reported about it’s pre-booking status. The smartphone has been priced at INR 6,990.

Samsung India has also partnered with Reliance, which is offering a ‘Smart Deal’ of 1 GB 3G data or Unlimited 2G data free per month for six months for all Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite buyers.

“At Samsung, we are seeking to fuel the growth of the Dual SIM market in India by launching our innovative, DUAL SIM Smartphones .With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite , we are seeking to democratize the Smartphone market in India . ” states Mr. Asim Warsi, VP, Samsung Mobile.

I am using the phone since last 15 days and playing lots of games in it . Dont have any problem…………….. experience is good

Why price reduced so fast from Rs.16900 to 13500 within 4 months I have been in a great loss. Is there any. Problem with the phone????
