HTC Proto shows face, might launch at IFA with Desire series moniker

Remember the previously leaked mid-range HTC Proto; well it has shown its face out in the open. With IFA just a few days away, this image leak might not be just a coincidence as HTC is expected to officially announce the device at the event.

As we previously reported, HTC Proto (code-name) is rumoured to be a part of company’s Desire series. It will come with 1GHz dual core processor, 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage, 4-inch WVGA display and Android 4.0 with Sense 4.0.

Other specifications are expected to include 1,650mAh battery, a micro-SIM card slot, microSD slot, Beats Audio, Bluetooth, and 5MP rear camera with LED flash.

Other details are still unavailable, but IFA is not far.
