The smartphone has been priced at INR 36,999 (MRP) in the country and now available. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 4.6-inch scratch resistant 1280×720p display, 1GB RAM, 12.1MP camera, front camera, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, NFC and 1900mAh battery.
Sony Xperia Ion was spotted on Snapdeal.com a few days ago for a price-tag for INR 35,999, so we can expect that to be the street price of the phone.
Company has also revealed that it plans to launch Xperia Tipo in the country soon.

Good phone but priced above phones with quad core not acceptable 🙂
The price is now about 21.5k. I think its a good deal now.
