LG launching Optimus 4X HD on July 19 in India

LG is holding a press event in Mumbai tomorrow and is expected to announce the launch of company’s first quad core Android smartphone Optimus 4X HD. This will be the third Android with quad core processor to land in the country.

LG Optimus 4X HD features 4.7-inch True HD IPS display, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 8MP rear camera, Android 4.0 and NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor.

Announced at Mobile World Congress this year, LG Optimus 4X HD has got good initial reviews but a lot will depend on its pricing in the country.

There is no word on the pricing right now, but we suspect it will be in range of INR 35K, if company is able to price it lower, it would certainly give a big boost to the sales of this smartphone.
