Acer Iconia Tab A500 getting Android 4.0 update in India

Acer has started rolling out the much awaited Android 4.0.3 update for Iconia Tab A500 users in India. This update is available OTA and is 395MB in size. To update Acer Iconia Tab A500, consumers will have to download the Iconia Tab Update Enhancement app from Google Play.

After installing app, all you have to do is, wait for the OTA notification to show up on your tablet and follow the instructions. Ice Cream Sandwich aka Android 4.0 brings several new features to the tablet including new People app, performance enhancements, and UI changes.

Have updated the updater since the day it got launched that is 19th april..no ICS no info from acer either and they got NO clue as ever about any updates…Arun if you can tell when you bought this tab and where r u located it would be great.

First you got the update of Acer Update Enhancement app succesfully, then you receive the ICS update.

i’ve had the Acer Update Enhancement app since a month already.. but still no ics 😛
have reinstalled once to see if that makes a difference.. nothing yet
will wait and see
