Asus made Google tablet to launch in May – Digitimes

Some reports suggest that a variant of Asus Eee Pad memo 370T might be launched as Google tablet.

Rumor king Digitimes is back with another report related to alleged Asus-Google tablet. Publication states that this co-branded tablet could debut as early as May.  Obviously there is no confirmation and all this is coming from anonymous industry sources, so take it with a pinch of salt.
In-line with other reports, Digitimes says that this tablet will be priced in US$199-$249 bracket. It also reveals that Google was earlier planning to go with HTC for this tablet but manufacturer was skeptic about the impact of a low-priced tablet on its premium brand image. So, search engine giant chose Asustek because of its ODM capability and good product quality.

If we take a look at previous rumors, this Google-Asus tablet will feature Tegra 3, 7 inch IPS display, 1GB RAM, with front and rear cameras.
