Verizon releases list of devices getting Android 4.0 update

Verizon has announced the names of Android devices in its portfolio that would be lucky to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update in the coming months. Telecom operator has not given any specific time-frame for these updates.

HTC:

• HTC ThunderBolt
• DROID Incredible 2 by HTC
• HTC Rhyme
• HTC Rezound

Motorola:

• Motorola XOOM
• DROID BIONIC
• DROID RAZR
• DROID RAZR MAXX
• DROID 4
• DROID XYBOARD 8.2
• DROID XYBOARD 10.1

Samsung:

• Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
• Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7

LG:

• LG Spectrum

We have already known about some of these devices via the manufacturers but this should be the most authoritative list of the Verizon devices to get ICS as it is coming directly from the Big Red.
