Google automatically syncs local search results from PC to smartphones

Advertisements

Google has released a new nifty feature for iPhone and Android search pages that is intended to help you on the go. Next time when you search for local information on your PC, it will automatically appear under recent icon on Google search page on your Android or iPhone.

For this feature to work, you need to be logged in and have web history enabled.

How to use:

Start by searching for a place on your PC or other devices, then login to Google.com’s mobile homepage and check the Recent icon. Information about previously searched places will be available under the Recent icon for about a day.
