LG has officially announced Optimus 4X HD quad core Android smartphone just now. It will be available in Europe next quarter followed by other countries. Optimus 4X HD is company’s first quad core smartphone.

It features 1.5 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 4.7 inch True HD IPS display, 1GB RAM, 16GB Internal storage, Android 4.0 and 2150 mAh battery. Optimus 4X HD is just 8.9 mm thick and also comes with 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, DLNA support and MHL.

LG Optimus 4X HD will be displayed at Mobile World Congress, and more details about the availability and pricing are expected in coming weeks.

  1. 8MP camera and just 1GB RAM? I know its enough but numbers matter ! Galaxy S III will kick it out of competition. 😀
