HTC seems to be trying hard to get back on the track and the latest bit of rumor reveals company’s one such step in that direction. According to Om Malik of Gigaom, HTC is working on a music streaming service in partnership with Beats Electronics.

This streaming service will be bundled with company’s smartphones and tablets. While the exact details are unclear right now but an announcement in this regard might be made very soon, probably at the upcoming Mobile World Congress.

HTC had purchased significant stake in Beats Electronics last year, following which we saw several smartphone launches with Beats Audio tech and now HTC wants to take that even further with this streaming service. Company is working with Jimmy Iovine (co-founder of Beats Electronics and a known face in US music scene) to make this a reality.
