Microsoft OneNote comes to Android

Microsoft has announced the availability of the OneNote Mobile for Android. It can now be downloaded from Android Market for free. Despite being the first version of the app, OneNote brings several features, but there is still need for a lot of work. Missing widgets and voice to text support are some of main drawbacks.

OneNote for Android works on Android 2.3+ devices and can sync you notes across the platforms thanks to the free skydrive support. It gives you access to upto 500 notes for free, after that you can upgrade to unlimited account by paying $4.99.

  • To-do lists with clickable checkboxes
  • Quick photo capture with your phone’s camera
  • Quick access to recent notes
  • Store and access multiple OneNote notebooks

  • Option to sync notebooks only over a Wi-Fi connection
  • Built-in spelling checker
  • Support for external hyperlinks
  • Table editing
