Samsung GT-I9070 gets a name – Galaxy S Advance

Remember, we reported about a Samsung GT-I9070 last month with details from all sorts of certification agencies as well as benchmarking sites. Well, now the smartphone has appeared in Philippines. Folks over HardwareZone got their hands on the device and have posted images as well as other information about the smartphone.

First of all, GT-9070 has been named as Galaxy S Advance. Thought to be China only till now, it might be launched in select other markets too and Philippines is one of them. The confirmed specifications include 1GHz ST-Ericsson NOVATHOR U8500 dual core processor, 5MP rear camera, front camera, Gingerbread, 4 inch display with 800X480p resolution and 6GB of internal memory.

It is expected to be priced around $535 (INR 26,460) and we expect an announcement pretty soon probably at MWC.
