Asus Transformer Prime getting software update, improves GPS performance

Asus is releasing a new software update for Transformer Prime users that reportedly improves GPS performance on the tablet. Prime has been plaguing with GPS issues since the launch and company even removed GPS from the marketing communications and specifications list.

Update Details:

Build Number: IML74K.US_epad-9.4.2.11-20120117

There is no change-log available right now, but according to reports, it bumps GPS software version to 6.9.13 and WiFi driver has also been updated. We will update the post once we get hold of the change-log. Till then you can either wait for OTA or try and manually initiate the update by going to Settings>>about tablet>>System firmware update.
