Motorola Fire XT getting Android 2.3.5 update in India

Advertisements

Motorola has started rolling out Android 2.3.5 update for Fire XT users in the country.  Update is available via Motorola Software Update tool, which can be downloaded from here.

There is no clear change-log available, but this update seems to be improving battery life. Motorola Fire XT currently runs on Android 2.3.4 and this update will bump the version number to 2.3.5.

If you have updated your Fire XT, do let us know about your experience after the update in comments.

Thanks Lalit

I have Updated my Motorola Fire 311. This is ain’t no major update. Just some bug fixes, better performance and some very negligible amount of increased ram. A new system app has been added named 3G Mobile Hotspot (Which is of no use, believe me.). But no major facelift or anything mentionable.
