Orange launches re-branded Huawei MediaPad as Tahiti in UK

Orange UK has announced the launch of Huawei Mediapad as Orange Tahiti in UK today. It will be available starting this week for £70 with a two-year, £25 monthly contract.

Orange Tahiti features 7 inch display, Android 3.2, 1.2GHz dual core processor, 5MP rear camera, front camera, HSDPA, and 512MB RAM. As Huawei is updating MediaPad toAndroid 4.0, we expect that Orange too will release the update for Tahiti.

Telco is also giving out Orange Tahiti as part of a “connected” plan if you opt to take a handset on the same deal. You can then get the Tahiti for free on a £41 a month contract with the Orange San Francisco.
