MotoACTV rooted; runs Android apps

It took long but Motorola’s 1.6 inch fitness tracker cum music player MotoACTV has been rooted. This wearable device apparently can run most of the Android apps include the popular Angry Birds and Google Maps. As Motorola has included decent power in the device using a 600MHz TI OMAP processor, there does not seem to be any lag in the functioning of these apps/games. To put power of the device in perspective, it packs almost the same power as OG Droid/Milestone.

Running on heavily skinned Android 2.3, you can gain root access on the device using zergRush. Detailed are given here including a bonus tear-down of the device.
