If you were looking to grab Samsung Galaxy R, this is the right time, when manufacturers are increasing the prices of their smartphones because of rupee depreciation; Flipkart is selling Galaxy R for just INR 20,999. We are not sure right now whether this price cut is coming from Samsung’s end or it is a Flipkart offer, either way you are getting a deal.

Samsung Galaxy R is like a cheaper cousin of Galaxy S II, and it comes with 4.19 inch Super Clear LCD, 1GHz dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, Android 2.3, 5MP rear camera, front camera, 8GB of internal memory and 1650 mAh battery.

Originally launched in India two months back for INR27K, it certainly looks like a better deal now. So, how many of you are planning to get one?

  8. i think rather than harping on the pricing .. (btw i am ok withi this price).. what we all should be bothered about is “IF this fone is getting ICS”.

    that would be deal breaker i think. so informed fellas…. let me know.
