HTC’s first quad core Android phone Edge leaked

Advertisements

HTC’s alleged first Android smartphone with quad core processor HTC Edge has been leaked. Render of the smartphone popped up on PocketNow late yesterday. Edge is said to be coming sometime in late Q1, 2012 or early Q2.

With quad core tablet already official, it was pretty certain that we are soon going to see a quad core smartphone as well. HTC Edge will feature nVIDIA’s 1.5GHz Tegra 3 quad core processor, which is a little shift from Qualcomm loving HTC. Among other features Edge will come with a 4.7 inch display with 720p resolution, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 8MP rear camera, Bluetooth 4.0 and front camera.

It has also been rumored that HTC Edge will be the first smartphone to see the release of HTC’s content services, which include HTC Listen music store, HTC Read e-book store, and HTC Play gaming store.
