Cisco announces Cius enterprise tablet in India

Cisco has released its enterprise targeted Android tablet Cius in the Indian market. Announced yesterday, this tablet will be available about INR 35,000 and INR 50,000 (with the docking station). According to Cisco, it will be targeting its existing customers and IP telephony users in the country, which stand around 700,000.

“Cius is not just another tablet. It has more to do with providing applications helping productivity in a secure environment,” Cisco India and SAARC National Sales Manager (Unified Communications) Minhaj Zia said at the press conference.

Cisco Cius features Android 2.2, seven-inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom Processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB storage, dual cameras (front and 5MP back) and 3G/4G and WiFi support.
