HTC Thunderbolt 4G Gingerbread update rolling out now

Verizon has started rolling out much awaited Android 2.3.4 update for its one of the most popular 4G devices – Thunderbolt 4G. This update is available OTA and you will soon get an automatic notification, but you can also manually trigger it by going to Settings>>Software Updates>>Check Now.

so when i try to check for the new software nothing happens. it says that its checking for the new software but device management closes and doesnt say anything and goes back to the menu asking if i want to check for updates, is there something im doing wrong?
