CyanogenMod to support 10 Xperia series devices

Advertisements

Cyanogen has announced that they are collaborating with FreeXperia team to bring CyanogenMod support to ten Sony Ericsson Xperia devices in the next release. Although he did not give any time-frame for the next release, it shouldn’t be too far.

The devices being supported are:

–          Xperia Arc,

–          Xperia Neo

–          Xperia Mini

–          Xperia Mini Pro

–          Xperia Play

–          Xperia Ray

–          Xperia X10

–          Xperia X8

–          Xperia X10 Mini

–          Xperia X10 Mini Pro

This is surely a good news for all the SE Xperia phone users out there, as they will now have a great choice in terms of a custom ROM. This is even better news for older device users as Sony Ericsson has stopped releasing updates for them and CyanogenMod always runs on the latest software; so get ready for some Gingerbread goodness.
