Samsung Illusion spotted on Flickr, coming to Verizon

It seems someone at Samsung forgot that today is not the launch of Samsung Illusion and accidentally posted images of upcoming Illusion on official Flickr account. While the device details weren’t confirmed, we do have the model number – SCH-I110 and Android version “Gingerbread”.

Boosting its Eco-friendly certification, it seems to join ranks of Replenish in Samsung inventory. As it seems to be an entry-level device by looks, we expect it to feature a 800MHz processor, 5MP camera and probably a 3.5 inch display. Nothing of these details is confirmed though.

Electronista is reporting that US telecom operator Verizon is likely to announce Samsung Illusion on September 29 with a price around $99.99 with contract. We would love to hear more about the smartphone, so if you have a tip drop us a mail.

I love reading this website because it details all the android news in India, but i don’t see the the point of covering OEM launches on US/UK carriers, its not like we can get these phones, as they are exclusive to those carriers, sometimes made SPECIFICALLY for them (e.g. the galaxy variants on various US carriers) and locked in with them. But if there IS a way we can get those phones , could you please give a detailed procedure how to get those? because i am very much interested in the Motorola Photon 4G. Its a beautiful phone. Thanks
