LG working on a thinner Optimus 3D?

Hate the chunky body of LG Optimus 3D but want a 3D smartphone, you might get what you are wishing for next year. LG is working on a slimmer version of Optimus 3D, and it can be launched in 2012.

LG developer Dr. Henry Noh suggested that we might see Optimus 3D 2 as slim as 7mm. He was taking to Pocket Lint recently. According to him every manufacturer is coming with similar devices with almost same internals, so the only way you can differentiate is aesthetically.

Will you buy a 3D smartphone that will be thinner than the existing Galaxy S II?
