Nexus S getting Android 2.3.6 update, fixes voice search bug

Google has starting rolling out Android 2.3.6 update for Nexus S devices. This update went out live this morning according to a Google employee at Google Mobile forums. There is no change-log available right now, but it mainly fixes the voice search bug.

Update Details:

  • Android 2.3.6
  • Baseband I9020AUCKF1
  • Build Number GRK39C

According to the Google guy, “An over-the-air update is now starting to roll out that includes a fix for this issue. As with previous updates, it will take a few days to send to everyone.”
