Sony launches Tablet S, Tablet P, available for pre-order in US

After teasing for a long time, Sony has taken wraps off its two Honeycomb tablets today. Earlier known as Sony S1 and S2, these tablets will now be called Tablet S and Tablet P respectively. Sony has announced Tablet S is now available for pre-order in United States and will go on sale next month. On the other hand, Tablet P will be available later this year.

Both the devices will ship with Android 3.2 on-board

Sony Tablet S: It will come in 16 GB and 32 GB versions and will be sold at Sony Stores including online and other authorized retailers nationwide for about $499 and $599, respectively.

Features: 9.4-inch touchscreen display, nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, front and rear facing cameras

Sony Tablet P:  Company was tightlipped on the pricing for Tablet P, and but did reveal that it will not come in a WiFi only version.

Features: Two 5.5-inch displays, nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 4G capable exclusively on AT&T, and front and rear facing cameras.
