Mercury mTab debuts in India for INR 9,499

Computer peripherals company Mercury has launched its first Android tablet mTab in India today.  Priced at INR 9,499, this tablet comes with some decent features.

Powered by Android 2.3 and 1.2 GHz triple core processor, mTab features 512MB of RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage, micro SD slot that supports external storage up to 32 GB, optional 3G, WiFi, 1.3MP front camera, and 7-inch WVGA TFT LCD touch display.

It will be shortly available in the market with a warranty period of 1 year.

wtf???
how come it is triple core??
if its arm based den it must be 2ual or quad(cortex a8 a9 or a15)….core config cant be chngd by oems!
or it may be intel atom but hey…
android does not support atom!
so the news(triple core part) is straightaway FAKE FAKE FAKE!LOL:):D
