UK is going to become the second country to get Google TV, after United States. The launch is expected in the next six months, probably after the release of Honeycomb and Android Market for Google TV.

Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt is expected to announce UK launch, when he will be delivering the MacTaggart lecture at the Edinburgh Television Festival, reported Metro.

Google TV is basically a combination of TV with web powered by a Google TV device, which can be a standalone set top box or a TV with built-in hardware.
