Sony Ericsson announces Xperia neo V, coming in Q4

Sony Ericsson has announced a new addition to their Xperia family in the form of neo V today. Xperia neo V is a slightly downgraded version of originally launched Xperia Neo.

According to Sony Ericsson, Xperia neo V will be available globally in select markets from Q4 2011. It is the first smartphone from the company to come pre-loaded with Android 2.3.4 and 3D camera functionality. It will also feature the earlier launched Facebook inside Xperia offering.

Featuring the upgraded software experience, Xperia neo V adds Swype, native screen capture functionality and much more. There is no word on the pricing as of now, which will be announced on the regional basis at the time of availability.

Sony Ericsson Xperia neo V Features:

  • 3.7 inches display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution
  • Android 2.3.4
  • 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 processor
  • 5MP primary camera
  • Front facing VGA camera
  • 3.5 mm audio jack, aGPS, Bluetooth, DLNA Certified, WiFi
  • 1500 mAh battery
