Waiting for Sony’s Honeycomb tablets in India, well we might see them launching next month in the country. According to a report in Tabletslaunch.com, Sony is allegedly in talks with telecom operators in India to launch these tablets. Idea seems to be the front runner to bag the deal, and release its first bundled Android devices.

The next month’s launch is also in line with the UK release, which is also expected in early September. The report further states that company is expected to price the cheapest version at INR 29,000, which will be probably the 16GB WiFi only version. Pricing details of other variants is not known right now.

To remind you, Sony S1 & S2 feature Android 3.1, and will come with nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.
