Samsung announces Galaxy Xcover rugged Android phone

Samsung has announced a new addition to its Galaxy series today in the form of rugged Xcover. Samsung Galaxy Xcover will be available in Germany starting this October, while there is no word on availability elsewhere.

The smartphone should not priced very high considering the features, which include Android 2.3, 3.65 inch scratch resistant tempered glass display, 3.2 MP camera, WiFi, GPS, and 800 MHz processor.

Xcover is dust resistant, can withstand accidental drops and one meter water for up to 30 minutes.

can this be able to play flash video on the browser ? it should , but may not , depends upon samsungs mentality . cuz moto defy can , so this should be …

But that could be the light sensor as well……even if I had missed it (I hadn’t), do you think the folks at gsmarena have missed it as well??
