Samsung has planned to update original Galaxy S to Android 2.3.4 update sometime this quarter. The testing of the update is already underway, but it is not confirmed when exactly the update will be available. SamFirmware has got hold of one such test firmware with Android 2.3.4.

One of the most important aspects of this update is the native video chat using Google Talk client on the phone. This update is also expected to bring video call over 3G network feature of Galaxy S, which is already present in its successor.

According to YouMobile, Samsung Europe has confirmed that update will be coming sometime this quarter.  International version should also be released around that time only, but there are still many countries struck on Android 2.2.2.
