Qualcomm Snapdragon roadmap leaked, quad-core coming in Q1, 2013

Although a bit late, Qualcomm is getting in the groove. According to a leaked Snapdragon roadmap, we will be seeing the launch of first Quad core Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm in Q1, 2013.

Codenamed Krait, the first dual core processors in the series will be coming in the fourth quarter this year with 1.5 to 1.7 GHz clock rate followed by 1 to 1.2 Ghz dual core with improved GPU and then quad core.

Definitely Nvidia Tegra4 which comes out after Tegra3 will rule the mobile and tablet world. It’s an eight core king. Even AMD can compete with it but not a qualcomm. Though Qualcomm Roadmap has been released it doesn’t make the curiosity among the mobile and tablet users like Nvidia Tegra 3 & 4
