Zinio newsstand gets advanced hardware acceleration on Tegra 2

Zinio has announced today that it has worked with nVIDIA to bring advanced hardware acceleration capabilities to its newsstand app for tablet running on Android 3.0/3.1 with Tegra 2 inside.  Its app is available for free download in Android Market.

According to Zinio, consumers will experience greatly increased performance capabilities and smooth page turning, zooming and panning.  In addition to this, all Android users who download Zinio will automatically be given – for free – three of the latest issues of favorite magazines ESPN, Harper’s Bazaar and Popular Science.
