Acer Iconia Tab A500 to get Android 3.1 on July 5 in Germany

Acer Germany has announced that it will release the Android 3.1 update for Iconia Tab A500 on July 5 in the country. There is no confirmation on other markets, but it should not take more than another couple of weeks.

Android 3.1 update will be available Over-The-Air and you will get a notification as soon as the update arrives. Overall the whole process should be painless.
