Videocon might launch 7 inch Android tablet in July

Advertisements

Reports are coming in that Videocon is currently testing a seven inch Android tablet, which might be launched in India next month. There are no details on this tablet apart from the fact that it will be running on Android 2.3. It is likely to be an OEM device from China, which will be rebranded by Videocon.

Videocon currently sells two Android smartphones in the market, and is trying to cash in on the tablet boom. Many other local companies including Lava, Micromax and Karbonn are also working on such Android tablets.
