LG’s dual display Android slider spotted

Interesting, weird, innovative or random? You will probably get one of these reactions after seeing the mystery LG QWERTY slider, which was spotted by guys over Pocket Lint at Kineto Wireless event recently.

The details are still unknown but the initial impressions suggest this isn’t going to be a high-end smartphone. It will probably be launched on T-Mobile US, will be called Flip II.

Coming to the USP of this device, the secondary display in the slider works as an app shortcut tray and you can add up to eight such shortcuts. We would expect it to do more as LG wouldn’t waste the while 1.5 inch display for just shortcuts, but that is unknown for now.
