AT&T Xperia X10 users finally getting Android 2.1 Éclair update

If you are one of those, who are still holding onto their Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 smartphone, we have some good news for you. AT&T has start rolling out the Android 2.1 update for the smartphone today.

While other manufacturers are pushing Android 2.3 update for their device, being a Xperia X10 owner really sucks.

Update Changelog:

  • 720p HD Video capture
  • Multi-touch support
  • Continuous autofocus in still and video capture
  • Face detection in video capture
  • Expanded homescreens increased from three to five.

Update is available via the PC Companion software, which you can download from here. Sony Ericsson has also provided a backup app in Android Market, which you can download from here.
