Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy Tabs gets priced in South Africa

Samsung recently declared the prices of its flagship Android smartphone Galaxy S II along with new Galaxy Tabs at Samsung Africa Forum.

Samsung has announced that it will release Galaxy Tab 10.1 in South Africa this July, while Galaxy Tab 8.9 will reach around the end of mid-August. While the announced pricing is only indicative, but we expect it to remain same unless there is a drastic drop in exchange and import rates.

• 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1  – R5,499 [INR 35,800]
• 32GB Galaxy Tab 10.1 – R6,499 [INR  42,300]

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S2 will be released for an estimated retail price of R6,699 [INR 43, 600] in the first week of July 2011.
