LG today announced that company will support Wikitude’s all new 3D Augmented Reality browser application on the Optimus 3D phones. While the normal phones with 2D augmented reality apps only displays overlapped objects, 3D augmented reality shows places, landmarks and objects in 3D making them easier to distinguish.

Wikitude 3D will be available for free from LG World, starting in the middle of June. LG Optimus 3D will also be available this summer starting in Europe followed by other markets around the world.
