It isn’t Samsung, Taiwanese OEM Quanta is making Amazon tablet

Advertisements

It’s time, we put to rest rumors of Samsung making Amazon’s upcoming tablet. According to Digitimes, sources have revealed that Taiwanese notebook maker Quanta has received tablet orders from Amazon.

It is also being reported that Taiwan-based electrophoretic display (EPD) maker E Ink Holdings (EIH) will be supplying touch panels for the tablet, so are we finally going to see color e-ink in action as our everyday device.

Digitimes is normally right in such matters, but nothing has been officially confirmed till now, but it is certainly more trustworthy than Samsung making Amazon tablet.
