PBS launches SUPER WHY App for kids in Amazon Android Appstore

PBS has released its first Android app in the Amazon Appstore today. This ‘SUPER WHY’ App for Android is developed to help kids build critical literacy skills through entertaining storybook adventures.  It can be installed on any phone running Android 2.1 and above.

“With more than 2 million downloads of PBS apps to date, there is significant interest in PBS content on mobile devices,” said Jason Seiken, Senior Vice President, Interactive, PBS.

The SUPER WHY App for Android helps children achieve the power to read with four fun SUPER WHY interactive literacy games in addition to a colorful virtual sticker book. The SUPER WHY App for Android is available for a list price of $2.99 in the new Amazon Appstore for Android.
