Motorola has launched its Honeycomb tablet Xoom in Malaysia, making it the second country in the region to get the tablet after Singapore.

Launched at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year, Motorola Xoom is the first Honeycomb powered tablet.  It features 1 GHz nVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 10.1 HD display, 5MP ear camera with front cam, and 32 GB internal storage.

Motorola Xoom WiFi will be available in the country starting May 6. There is no word on the availability of 3G version as of now.

Telecom operator Maxis is also running a promotion in which you can buy Motorola Xoom WiFi and Motorola Defy for RM2499. This offer is valid till May 22.
