AT&T Motorola Bravo gets Android 2.2 Froyo update

Motorola today released the Froyo update for Bravo users on AT&T in United States. There is word on the availability of update for select other countries, which got Motorola Bravo.

This update brings Android 2.2, Support for Adobe Flash 10.2, Apps like News and Weather, LinkedIn, Task Manager, Files and better Gallery. Other update features include the usual Apps on SDCard, JIT compiler and WiFi tethering support.

This FroYo update is available Over the Air, and you will get a notification on your device about the download of the update.

Manual Update Instructions:

  • Select the Settings icon in the main menu.
  • Select “About phone”.
  • Select “System updates”.
  • Select “Download”.

As the update is rolling out in stages, you might not get it just now, so have patience and it will reach your device.

Background: Motorola started selling Bravo on AT&T in November last year along with Flipside.
