Will my HTC Desire series, Incredible series smartphone get HTC Sense 3.0? The answer is ‘No’. We are not saying this, it is coming from HTC.
Flooded with consumer queries regarding the same, company has responded to a customer on Twitter that due to the hardware requirements on Sense 3.0, it will only be available for HTC Sensation, Evo 3D, Flyer and most probably other upcoming high-end devices.
HTC Sense 3.0 was announced with HTC Sensation two days ago at an event in London and has been liked by most. If you haven’t got the chance to have a look, check out the video below.
Nice one right, well HTC might not be bringing it on your device, but we are sure Android developers will soon port it. With the first Test ROM reaching Android forums today, we are pretty sure Sense Ports for different HTC devices will soon start popping up. That’s the beauty of Android, your manufacturer might dump you, open source community will not.
So, the above clarification from HTC explains itself pretty much.
“due to Sense’s hardware requirements”… that’s B$. My Desire is completely capable of running Sense 3.0, I challenge those guys at HTC to say the opposite, data at hand. The real answer SHOULD have been: “due to market requirements”. Because we can be fools, but not dumb.
