HTC confirms Honeycomb update for Flyer

Advertisements

Putting all rumors to rest, HTC has confirmed that HTC Flyer Gingerbread tablet will get Honeycomb update.

The company has not given any specific timeframe, but has announced that it will release the update once it is available. So, does it all depend on Google’s decision to release the source code for the tablet OS? Looks like that. If you remember Google has earlier announced that it is keeping the Honeycomb source code private until it is suitable for all devices.

So, now the prospective Flyer buyers will have something to look forward.
