Mozilla Firefox stable coming to Android this week

Advertisements

With release candidate out last week, we knew that it coming pretty soon and Computerworld confirmed that for us. According JR Raphael, Mozilla will launch the first stable version of Firefox for Android later this week.

“We’re just waiting to see if there are any bugs that we haven’t found,” says Thomas Arend, Mozilla’s principal product manager.

One of the disappointments will be the absence of Adobe Flash from the Firefox for Android, which will be coming sometime later.  Another disappointment will be missing tablet optimized version.
