Australia – Second quarter Android roadmap leaked

Australia will be getting at least ten Android phones in the next quarter. According to leak from BrightPoint, which is country’s one of largest telecommunication hardware supplier, Samsung Galaxy S 2, LG Optimus 2X and SE Xperia Play will be released in the country in the coming few months.

Coming to what we can see in the roadmap, the upcoming launches:

April: Alcatel OT980 (RRP: $249), Huawei U8500 (RRP: $249), LG Optimus Me (RRP: $249), Samsung Galaxy Fit (RRP: $349) and LG Optimus 2X (RRP: $599).

May: Motorola Defy (RRP: $549), Alcatel OT990 (RRP: $249) and Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc (RRP: $849).

June: Sony Ericsson Xperia Play (RRP: $949) and Samsung Galaxy S II (RRP: $899)

There aren’t many confirmations till now about the respective telecom operators for these Android devices, and Android lovers will be disappointing to miss Motorola Atrix here. It might be launched on a later date.
