Adobe Flash Player 10.2 coming on March 18; Finally Flash for Honeycomb

Motorola Xoom owners can finally be happy. Adobe has announced that it will release a Honeycomb optimized version of Adobe Flash 10.2 on March 18.

Xoom did not come with a Flash Player at the time of launch and that certainly did not make buyers happy. Tablet owners will need the 3.0.1 version on the Xoom tablets to install Flash, which will start rolling out today as reported by us earlier.

Adobe Flash 10.2 will bring accelerated video presentation for H.264 for Honeycomb tablets, a new ActionScript API with automatic soft keyboard support for developers and the usual performance improvements.

Adobe Flash version is currently in beta for Honeycomb, while it will stable for Android 2.2 and 2.3.
