Android pips RIM to become No 1 smartphone OS in US

Android has become the number one smartphone OS in US, according to the latest report released by research firm comScore. Android has pushed RIM to the second place, while Apple remains at the third spot.

U.S market share

  • Android                                31.2 percent
  • BlackBerry           30.4 percent
  • Apple iPhone     24.7 percent
