Asus Eee Tablets’ UK launch in April

After showing off its Android 3.0 powered Eee Pad range at CES in January, Asus has finally released the UK availability information about the Honeycomb powered tablets at CeBIT today. Two tablets of the series Eee Transformer and Eee Slider will be launched around April in UK, while Eee Memo will arrive in the start of Q3.

Asus Eee Slider

–                10.1-inch touchscreen

–                Slide-out QWERTY

–                Dual-core CPU

–                Availabilty: UK release in mid April.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer

–                10.1-inch touchscreen

–                NVIDIA Tegra 2 chipset

–                Optional docking station with a full-on keyboard essentially ‘transforming’ into a notebook.

–                Availability: UK release date of mid-April

Asus Eee Memo

–                7-inch screen

–                Dual-core Snapdragon

–                Micro-HDMI port

–                1080p playback

–                Front and rear-facing digital cameras

–                Availability: UK release date of early Q3.

Pricing

The UK price tag for all the tablets has not yet been declared yet. However, the price range is expected to be around £300 to £825 as announced at the time of CES.
